Will Leia Die in the Last Jedi?

Fans of "Star Wars' are anxiously awaiting the next installment in the new trilogy, which will be released in exactly one month.
So far, there isn't much known about the plot other than that Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) will play a bigger role than he did in 2015's "The Force Awakens."
With the tragic passing of long time "Star Wars" actress Carrie Fisher last December, many fans have been speculating what the future holds for the prized Princess.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy revealed that Fisher wanted to be the lead for as yet untitled, "Episode IX." “The minute she finished, she grabbed me and said, ‘I’d better be at the forefront of IX!’ because Harrison(Ford) was front and center on VII, and Mark (Hamill) is front and center on VIII. She thought IX would be her movie. And it would have been,” Kennedy said.Disney has confirmed that Fisher was to have a larger part in "The Last Jedi" and its sequel, but that the actress's death has effected the plot. While all of her scenes were completed for "The Last Jedi, the third installment has been rewritten and Lucasfilm has announced that they will not use CGI to render Fisher's likeness. The plot for "The Last Jedi" will not be effected by the actress's death, but will make the ending "more poignant."The trailer for the film insinuates that the beloved Princess and Rebel Alliance General will be blown up by her evil son, Kylo Ren (who killed Harrison Ford's Han Solo in the previous film.)I am torn on this idea. Consdering that Carrie has passed away and will not be featured past "The Last Jedi," killing Leia off is the only logical way to effectively keep her character out of subsequent films and yet....I already lost Carrie Fisher. I'm not sure that I can stand to lose Leia as well.Regardless of the outcome, I will be anticipating many tears to be shed when I go to see it.
