The Truth Is Still Out There

The long-running sci fi series about two FBI agents -- Mulder, the believer, and Scully the skeptic -- as they investigate paranormal and possible extraterrestrial cases, is set to air the second revival season ( the eleventh overall) in January of 2018. The season will consist of 10 episodes, and will pick up where the previous season ended. The main season arc will detail the agents' search for their son, William.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will reprise their roles as Mulder and Scully. Other returning series regulars are Mitch Pileggi as Assistant Director Walter Skinner, William B. Davis as The Cigarette Smoking Man, and Annabeth Gish as Agent Monica Reyes. Other returning actors are Lauren Ambrose and Robbie Amell as Agents Einstein and Miller (intoduced last season,) Veronica Cartwright as Cassandra Spender, Chris Owens as Jeffrey Spender, and Dean Haglund as Langly (1/3 of "The Lone Gunmen.)
Not much else is known about the upcoming season.
I was a fan of the series back in high school. Despite its short episode slate, I enjoyed Season 10. After the infamous cliff hanger finale, I have been anxiously awaiting news on a new season. I cannot wait til it airs.
